Dover announce next season’s prices
Dover announce next season’s prices

Dover Athletic have announced their pricing structure for the 2012-13 season.

The club have listened to the concerns and feedback from supporters and hope that the new pricing structure goes some way in addressing many of the issues.

The scheme is set to cost the football club over £10,000 to put in place as a result of the direct loss in income from receipts, but it is hoped this will be balanced by an increase in attendances.

Meanwhile, Dover Athletic have the backing of businesses both locally and nationally. Earlier this week Whites announced a new ‘record’ main sponsorship with International produce company Gomez, who’s headquarters are based outside Canterbury.

Today the club have announced further large scale sponsorships with local and national companies. The first is a new ‘back-of-shirt’ sponsorship deal with Waste Management firm Viridor. The company operates over 320 facilities across the UK, and has it south east regional office in West Malling, near Maidstone. The Somerset based company has agreed to an initial one year, 5 figure deal.

Dover director Neil Cook, who has been working with Viridor over the past few months said “We are very pleased to have Viridor on board – they are a big company who share our vision for the club. The current financial crisis is making it difficult for many companies to be able to afford activity of this nature. We are glad that Viridor recognise the value in associating themselves with Dover Athletic in this way and we very much appreciate the support Viridor is giving us.”

Cambridgeshire based packaging specialists GSH Group have renewed their sponsorship with the club. The company’s branding can be seen on the Family Stand and around the ground. GSH Group is the club’s Community partner. The company have signed up to a further one year, five figure deal.

Communications Director, Steve Parmenter said “There is a lot of positivity within the club at present and that is reflecting onto potential sponsors. We have upped our game in relation to attracting support from businesses and we are seeing a very positive response.
“The club is moving forward at pace off the field and we’re looking forward to that success being mirrored on the pitch for the 2012-13 season.”
